BuildWealth collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and financial data you enter into the platform such as account balances, transaction records, and financial goals. We do not collect or store bank credentials. All financial data you enter is stored encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
We use your information solely to provide and improve the BuildWealth service. This includes rendering your dashboard, generating AI-powered financial insights, processing subscription payments through Stripe, and sending transactional emails related to your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, and role-based access controls. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 for unauthorized access. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. BuildWealth does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or expiration date. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
When you use the AI Financial Advisor, your messages and relevant financial context are sent to our AI processing infrastructure to generate responses. Conversation data is stored in your account and can be deleted at any time. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your data from the Settings page or submit a deletion request to [email protected]. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Residents of California (CCPA) and the European Union (GDPR) have additional rights including the right to opt out of data sharing and the right to data portability.
BuildWealth uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of BuildWealth after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
